What have we prepared?

This weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, from 4 p.m. at PKO Rotunda, there will be concerts by Polish participants in this year's Chopin Competition:

  • on Saturday, 18 October, Zuzanna Sejbuk, the only Polish woman in the competition, will perform.
  • on Sunday, 19 October, Andrzej Wierciński will perform.

During short breaks in the concerts, Aleksandra Koczurko-Porzycka (IG: @blecanto) will talk about, among other things, the composer's four main loves and their influence on his work, his friendship with Delfina Potocka, and his relationship with George Sand and her daughter Solange.

Coffee and sweet treats from Deseo Patisserie & Chocolaterie will be waiting for guests.

From 6 p.m., there will be a joint viewing of the final round of the Competition auditions on a large screen.

The Rotunda will be transformed, both symbolically and literally, into a Chopin café, where every note of the piano will resonate even more fully.

[1] Due to safety requirements, no more than 100 people may be present in PKO Rotunda at any one time.
