Born on 11 February 2002, he began studying the piano at four and was awarded second prize in the Sha De Cup competition by the age of five. He has studied with Galyna Popova at the music school attached to Xinghai Conservatory, leaving with top marks and the title Honorary Graduate, then was offered scholarships by the Juilliard School, New England Conservatory of Music and Oberlin Conservatory of Music. He is now pursuing his bachelor’s degree at the Oberlin with Dang Thai Son. He is a laureate of competitions in New Orleans, Hong Kong and Shanghai, and a finalist of the Busoni Competition.
