Born on 14 October 2003, he is currently a student of Heesung Joo at Seoul National University and a recipient of the Hyundai Motor Company Chung Mong-Koo Arts and Culture Scholarship. He has won numerous awards: the KBS KEPCO Music Competition (2nd prize); Kukmin Daily & Hansei University Music Competition (1st prize); CBS Nationwide Teenagers Music Competition (1st prize); Chopin Competition in Korea (3rd prize); 4th Asia-Pacific International Chopin Piano Competition (3rd prize). He has performed with the Cheongju Philharmonic Orchestra, the Daegu Philharmonic Orchestra (cond. Antoni Wit) and the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra.
