Shushi

Born on 4 June 1996, he has been studying with Tetsuro Ishikawa since the age of six. He is also a graduate of the Tokyo University of the Arts, where his teachers were Shinnosuke Tashiro and Yuya Tsuda. He has honed his skills in masterclasses with Dang Thai Son, Jean-Claude Pennetier and Piotr Paleczny. He won first prize and the Minister of Education Prize in the All Tohoku Piano Competition (2016) and has taken part in international Chopin competitions in Warsaw (second round, 2021) and Hamamatsu (2024), and also the Marguerite Long and Jacques Thibaud Piano Competition (2022). He has given numerous concerts and recitals across Japan, including in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.
