Born on 16 August 2007, he began his musical studies in Canada with Lee Kum Sing and Sunsung Kong, then studied with Gareth Owen on a music scholarship at Eton College. In 2024 he gained his Artist Diploma and the Prix Cortot at the École normale de musique de Paris, where he was taught by Marian Rybicki. He now studies with Wha Kyung Byun on the Harvard-New England Conservatory Dual-Degree program. He won the 2024 BBC Young Musician award. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Windsor Castle, on the Ellen Show and on RTHK Radio 4, CCTV 4, CBC Music and French Radio Classique. He has played with the Singapore, Helsingborg and City of Birmingham symphony orchestras and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
