Andrey Zenin
Individual neutral pianist
Born on 18 January 1995, he began learning piano aged four and later studied with Rimm Skorokhodov, Balázs Szokolay, Thomas Steinhöfel and Nikolai Demidenko. He is a graduate of the Rostov State Rachmaninov Conservatory and also the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar, where he is now studying for a doctorate. He has won prizes in many competitions, including third prize and the improvisation prize at the Darmstadt Chopin Competition, first prize in the International ‘Skavronsky-Inspiration’ Piano Competition in Volgodonsk (Russia), third prize in the Benditsky International Piano Competition in Saratov (Russia) and second prize in the International Musica Classica Fryderyk Chopin Competition for Young Pianists in Moscow.
