Born on 28 February 2002, he began playing piano aged four. He studied with Ting Zhou at the Middle School attached to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and since 2020 has been a student of Robert McDonald at the Juilliard School. He has attended masterclasses led by Gary Graffman, Wha-Kyung Byun, William Grant Nabore, Jörg Demus and Pi-Hsien Chen. He has won first prize in the Steinway & Sons International Youth Piano Competition (2017), the Piano Concerto Competition held at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music (2020) and the Juilliard School’s Maurice Ravel Concert Piano Competition (2024).
