Conference of the 19th Chopin Competition and announcement of the list of participants in the Preliminaries

On 4th March 2025, the names of pianists qualified to take part in the Preliminaries for the 19th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition were announced. During the conference, partners and sponsors of the Competition, a detailed schedule of the Competition, as well as accompanying events and the route of the planned world tour of laureates will also were presented.

A stream of the conference will be available on the Fryderyk Chopin Institute's Facebook profile and on the Chopin Institue's YouTube channel.

The Fryderyk Chopin Institute is preparing a series of CD releases featuring portraits of both the winner of the Chopin Competition and the most interesting personalities among the other participants, as has become tradition.

Admission tickets, audition times – what you need to know before the 19th Chopin Competition

During stages I, II, and III of the auditions, participants are auditioned daily in two sessions, morning (from 10 a.m. to approximately 2 p.m.) and afternoon (from 5 p.m. to approximately 9 p.m.). The finals begin at 6 p.m.
