Pianos at the 19th Chopin Competition

We now know the brands of pianos that will be featured at the 19th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition. In addition to the Steinway, Yamaha, Kawai and Fazioli pianos present at previous editions of the Competition, the pianists will also have at their disposal a C. Bechstein D-282, a manufacturer that traces its very long history back to 1853, and boasts a steady presence on the most important concert stages and competitions, including the Chopin Competition.

    Poster designed by Marcin Władyka will promote the Chopin Competition in Warsaw

    Dr Marcin Władyka won the competition for the poster promoting the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw. The poster competition was co-organised by the Fryderyk Chopin Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. 15 artists from Poland and abroad submitted 30 works.
