Laureates of the 19th Chopin Competition in Poznań

Besides Wrocław and Katowice, the next city Eric Lu and Kevin Chen will visit in Poland as part of their concert tour shortly after winning first and second prizes in the 19th Chopin Competition is Poznań. Today, October 27th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Adam Mickiewicz University, the pianists will perform Chopin repertoire during special evening, with Eric Lu playing the Concerto in F minor accompanied by the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Łukasz Borowicz.

And just a few days later, on Friday, October 31st, 5th Prize winner Tianyao Lyu and finalist David Khrikuli will arrive in Poznań to perform both Chopin concertos, in E minor and F minor, with the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra during an event titled ‘Audience Favourites of the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition.’
