On 6 May, the results of the Preliminaries for the 19th Chopin Competition will be announced!

On 6 May, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., a press conference will be held at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum in Warsaw to announce the list of names of pianists qualified to participate in the 19th Fryderyk Chopin International Piano Competition in October. 

 

The event will be attended by Minister of Culture and National Heritage Hanna Wróblewska, Director of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute Artur Szklener, representatives of the Polish Television and Polish Radio. In addition to the results of the Preliminaries, they will discuss the detailed schedule of the Competition, accompanying events and the itinerary of the planned world tour of the winners.

 

The conference will be broadcast on the profiles of the Fryderyk Chopin Institute on Facebook and on the Chopin Institute's channel on YouTube.
