Audience Award poll of the 19th Chopin Competition

We invite you to vote in the Audience Award poll of the 19th Chopin Competition. Votes can be cast for pianists who have qualified for the final. Voting takes place from 18 to 20 October, and each voter can cast one vote by clicking on the “Vote” button next to the name of their chosen pianist. For your vote to be valid, you must provide your e-mail address on the entry form. 

The voting form can be found at this link.

The results will be announced on October 21 on the competition website.

    Promoting the idea of the Competition. Conversation with Joanna Bokszczanin, head of the Competition Organisation Office and secretary to the jury

    ‘Our role is not just to organise the competition and promote Chopin’s music, but also to support the competition winner entering the international arena. Thanks to concerts in prestigious halls, the winner has the opportunity to showcase their ability before a discerning audience and the major organisers of musical life in those places.’

    Behind the scenes notes. 4th day

    Majority of pianists performing on Monday, the fourth day of stage 1 auditions, represented China. There were also participants from South Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Spain, the U.S.A., Italy and France, as well as Philipp Lynov, representing no country.
